Client Brief
The client sought a refined yet welcoming aesthetic, with a strong emphasis on light, space, and classical grandeur. The design centers around a monochromatic palette of warm whites and soft creams, accented with brushed gold hardware and fixtures. Every element, from the bespoke furniture to the custom wall paneling, was curated to exude quiet opulence.
Design Execution
• Living Area:
Anchored by a grand limestone fireplace, the lounge space includes deep-seated ivory sofas with tailored silhouettes, paired with minimalist marble-and-gold coffee tables. Plush wool carpets and soft accent lighting enhance comfort without compromising elegance.
• Dining Area:
A 12-seat dining table, constructed from honed stone and surrounded by cream-upholstered chairs, sits beneath a statement crystal chandelier. Fluted gold wall sconces mirror the tones and curves of the lighting above.
• Lighting & Atmosphere:
Layered lighting plays a critical role in the space. Dual chandeliers act as visual anchors, while recessed LED ceiling lights and gold-trimmed wall sconces provide warmth and ambiance.
• Materials & Finishes:
Natural stone, high-grade textiles, and handcrafted metallic details elevate the tactile experience. Fine cornicing and bespoke joinery throughout subtly highlight the home’s architectural bones.
